Slide buddy slide
Here's 2 1/2-year-old Baury and 4-year-old Naury two years ago in Uralsk: 2008, it's 4 1/2-year-old Charlie (Baury) and 6-year-old Garrett in Marietta GA: What are our chances of getting them to pose on the slide when they're 35?
How cute. I can't wait to see the photo when they are 35.
Haven't commented in a while, but it is so amazing that you get together with Garrett's old buddy. What are the chances?! It is so cool that he has a little piece of his past right here in the U.S.
Your trip home sounds wretched. When we traveled to Kazakhstan, things went fairly smoothly except for this agent at the counter who did not give us our boarding passes when we checked in. We got to security and they said we didn't have them. We went back and she icily told me that she would have given us the passes if we would have given her a certain piece of paper. I would think if we were checking our bags, she would ask for said piece of paper and give us the boarding passes. She then told me not to sweat the small stuff - thanks for the sage advice.
Adorable! So glad you were able to catch up with Garrett's old friends. And keep in touch with them. But I'm sorry you had such a rotten flight (you are very brave flying standby with a child!). And an injury on top of it all!

So cute!!! If you try at 25, they'll probably do it if you offer to pay for a buffet dinner afterwards - just a thought :)
