This is Garrett enjoying his first large gathering, which happened to be called Festasol—a celebration my boss threw this past weekend in honor of summer solstice. (Which is a really BIG deal in these parts of the woods, because every year it seems like summer takes forever to get here.) As you can see, he has the potential to become a real party animal. As for mama, she had fun trying to keep up.
Go Garrett go.
Run mama run.

That is a great shot! What a cutie!
Hi. My husband and I adopted a girl from Uralsk 6 1/2 years ago. She is now 14. We also adopted from Tree of Life in Portland. (We live in Portland.) A friend of mine sent me your blog address. In the picture of your son where he is helping plant the tree, he is the spitting image of my daughter at age 7. If you'd like, I can send you a copy of her picture. My email is gwakelan@standard.com. Garrett is really cute. We've been through a lot of challenges with our daughter, but things are starting to even out and now she is a typical teenager!
