No, the Twin Cities was not hit by another weather disaster. This time it's all good.
Just got a call from Bob. A big thing happened this morning: it was the first time Garrett didn’t throw a tantrum at daycare. He got to his classroom, looked around, hugged papa and then waved "bye-bye." Not even a tear. Woo-hoo!!!! Break out the band. We’re heading straight to DQ after work tonight. Treats for all.

HOORAY!!!! This is so exciting!! Progress!!! YAY!!!
Very exciting news! He's understanding how things are going - he might be enjoying his time with other kids too :)

That is really awesome. It's so unbelievably COOL when you see progress with your children. It's my favorite thing about being a mom, and also teaching. I just teach Sunday school, but when the kids "get it", I just get goosebumps. It's so fantastic to be a part of molding young minds. :)
That is very happy news and I know that your heart is so full.
Blizzards for everyone, indeed!!!
That is wonderful news--- very exciting! Definitely worthy of some blizzards :-)
Such Great news! It does feel so good when you don't have to leave them screaming.....definitely blizzard worthy! We finally after a year have been able to leave Nick most anywhere without this look of panic on his face...it is so freeing! Unfortunately the last great hurdle was the YMCA childcare which has meant almost a year without working out (he wouldn't sit in a stroller either) my poor out of shape body has paid the price! lol!
Happy Blizzard Day! karen
Can't think of a better way to celebrate this milestone in Minnesota in June than a blizzard. Hip hip hooray Karen and Bob!
Wahoo... so glad to hear that news.
Enjoy your DQ!!!
Tracy
Karen,
You all are an inspiration!
All my best,
Angela

Congratulations
Yeeehaaaa this IS great news! You ALL deserve to celebrate. BTW, I didn't have a chance to comment on yesterday's post, but man oh man he gets cuter by the day!! He looks healthier and happpier (even after being traumatized by the hail). Ahhhh, the power of love. You're a great mom, Karen!!!
Certainly DQ worthy!!
Sounds like evryday is better & better - great job you two guys are doing!
Darlene

Congratulations!!! So good to hear!!! That must be a load off of your mind.
Major headline for sure. He is such a cool kid.
That is such a good feeling when you drive away. I remember with my older daughter just being torn up inside when she would cry when I would leave her.
Yea for Garrett!
